Meal Program
In operation since December, 1983, the St. James Meal Program provides a hot meal four days a week and national holidays.
- Saturday and Sunday Meal 1-2 PM
- Monday and Tuesday Meal 5-6 PM
- National Holidays and Good Friday 1-2 PM
Our program helps our neighbors who face hunger and other challenges in Lake County: homelessness, poverty, addiction, mental illness, or even simple loneliness. Mind, body, or soul: we strive to nurture our community – all are welcome.
When the program began almost 40 years ago, St. James served to fill in weekends and holidays. Painesville Salvation Army provides weekday lunch. Our services expanded in 2010 and 2012 to include dinners.
We are able to accomplish serving 15,000 meals a year with the miraculous support of our Meal Teams from 16 different churches and organizations and the Cleveland Food Bank.
For information on other services and food assistance call 211 for Lifeline.
